The Biggest Story: How The Snake Crusher Brings Us Back To The Garden

Learning about and reading the Bible should be fun and captivating. It is a manual for life, source of encouragement, and was divinely created for us all. Introducing the Bible in creative ways for children is essential. In my family, incorporating scriptures (memory verses) and stories into everyday learning brings us joy. We have CDs, DVDs, flash cards, and books to help facilitate the learning of God’s word. However, none have blown me away quite like The Biggest Story.

The Biggest Story: How The Snake Crusher Brings Us Back To The Garden

The Biggest Story: How the Snake Crusher Brings Us Back to the Garden includes 132 pages, divided into chapters and shares some of the most significant stories of the Bible, from both the Old and New Testament. The Biggest Story can easily be read as one ongoing story–which, in fact, the Bible truly is. The title of the book boldly describes the purpose and message of the entire Bible. The “Snake Crusher” (Jesus), through his death, burial and resurrection, brings us “Back to the Garden” which was given to and lost by mankind (Adam and Eve). Man’s disobedience snatched the garden away, however, the victory of Calvary has brought us back to the place that God intended for his children. It is simply powerful! Brilliant color and illustrations are included from cover to cover which helps make this hardcover book an instant classic and keepsake for your children and entire family.

The Biggest Story: How The Snake Crusher Brings Us Back To The Garden

When I sat down to share Kevin DeYoung’s interpretation of God’s word with my two toddlers, they were instantly captivated. I thought I would read a chapter or two with them just to introduce the The Biggest Story to them, however after each chapter ended, they would ask for, “Another one!” It is pretty hard to tell your children no when they are asking to learn more about the Bible.
