For the past month, I have worked with fellow influencer, Melanie of ¿Qué Means What? on a project called #FamilyTimeNow and it has paid off in a big way! Our project required our readers to stop and engage their family, to think about what matters most, and that is spending quality time with one another. Participants excitedly jumped into the project, posting their pics and videos on Instagram and using our project’s hashtag, #FamilyTimeNow for a chance to win a $50 Visa gift card (See who won our contest).
Our project was a part of a bigger contest created by Latina Bloggers Connect, Alt Summit, and Blogalicious, forming coLAB. The contest was first announced in July–you can read the specifics of the contest here. Thanks to Be Blogalicious, a community who supports multicultural influencers and the idea of a diverse digital presence which I am a part of, I was able to join this year’s coLAB experience.
Alt Summit recently announced the winners of the first ever coLAB project. Melanie and I are happy to announce that we are two of the winners of this project! We are THRILLED. We both will receive two tickets, one for the conference of the community we are connected to (for me, that’s Blogalicious and for Melanie, Latina Bloggers Connect) as well as tickets to our partner’s community’s conference!
