Eliminate stress by putting the kids to work.

Most of the stress I experience comes from necessary day-to-day responsibilities of maintaining our home and my slightly perfectionist ways. Every mom of young children I talk to about cleaning says the same thing–cleaning with children in the home is practically a never ending chore. The trails of toys, mounds of laundry, sink full of dishes and kitchen floor dusted with crumbs for days are just some of the things I see everyday that just about send me over the edge. I am on a quest to eliminate stress and the desire for perfection. Since I love my kiddos dearly, I have decided to keep them around (wink) and put them to them to work.…

  • Make 2017 The Year to Support Your Spouse

Support Your Spouse in 2017 |

Many have made resolutions and goals to tackle in 2017. I personally don’t make resolutions, but I am all for goal setting. I like to include my family in my goal setting and do so because I do life with them. Whatever I’m pursuing will inevitably bring my family into the pursuit right along with me. Necessities for a Holiday Bathroom Makeover | MommyWifeLife

The holiday season has finally begun and I am just as excited as I am every year. I love everything about this time of year–hanging out with family and friends more often than usual, Christmas music playing, non-stop eating of great food and treats and, of course, Christmas decorations! My husband’s eyes roll when I mention decorations because he knows I’ll be sending him to the crawl space for everything that sparkles. Macy's Men's Health Event at Easton

My husband and I both turned 30 this year. Rumor has it that many things will change while we are living life as 30-something year old, including our bodies. This gives us every reason to be become proactive and get fit. We currently eat out more than we should and I will take the blame. As a wife, and mom, I feel a responsibility to keep my family’s health on track. The last thing I desire for my husband is to see him unhealthy and sick. I need him to be around for a long time–for me, our kids, and for himself. Macy’s is backing me up on this one in a way I never expected.
