3 Reasons We Need Women of Faith in Our Lives | MommyWifeLife

Ever feel like your life is a mess and you can’t think clearly? I don’t think I have ever met a woman who has not experienced those feelings. With all of the responsibilities that come with being and adult comes ups and downs, great days and days that you wish could be wiped from your memory. Life, however, is a little easier when you have the right people around you.

I have found that being surrounded by women of faith can make both gloomy and sunny days brighter. If ever you feel a need to change your environment or friends list, be sure to include women of faith.

3 Reasons We Need Women of Faith in Our Lives

To Pray For Us

If ever something happened in your life and you needed someone to pray on your behalf, wouldn’t you want someone who loves you and is connected with God to be in your corner? What is great about having women of faith in your life is even when you haven’t requested prayer or shown a need for their prayers, they will still have you on their prayer lists. Having “extra” prayer never hurt.

James 5:16:

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

To Believe With Us

There are some things in life that we aren’t able to share with everyone in our lives. For instance, sharing your ambitions and dreams with the wrong person can leave you feeling inadequate and unable to reach those dreams; all this because they don’t have faith in you, and sometimes, no faith in what God can do through you. When you are expected certain outcomes in your life and you have presented it to God, it is a great thing to have someone come into agreement with you.

Matthew 18:19:

Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.

To Help Us See “The Light”

Ever feel like a situation is going to consume you? I know I have. What helps is having someone who can tell you to chill, reminding you that you’re an overcomer. It is easy to want to dwell in moments of discouragement, but the woman of faith in your life won’t allow you too. We all need one of these women.

We don’t have to only be on the receiving end of these actions. We can also be a woman of faith for people in our lives. We can reciprocate these prayers and words of encouragement and prove to be a great friend and woman of faith.

1 Thessalonians 5:11:

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
