I received a complimentary tour of the BIA Parade of Homes in exchange for review. All thoughts are 100% mine.
Sixteen homes built by both local and national homebuilders make up this year’s BIA Parade of Homes. Each home is unique, full of character, and luxurious. Attendees of the September 3-18 event will be quite pleased with the visions the sixteen builders have brought to life.
I was recently invited, along with other Columbus area bloggers, to attend a preview tour of the Verona in Powell neighborhood of Parade of Homes. We were given the opportunity to tour the $700,00 to $1.3 million homes and to personally meet several of the builders. Some homes were finished and in others, we could see and hear the finishing touches being made.
With sixteen homes in the neighborhood, I knew that my baby bump would not allow me to see every single home, but the seven that I did see were absolutely stunning! From floor plans, to countertops, to outdoor living spaces, there were elements behind each door of the homes I entered that gave inspiration for my family’s dream home.
Peek at the Homes
Bob Webb Homes
This 5,500 square-foot home is the 2016 Foundation Home. The sale of it benefits the BIA Foundation and Habitat for Humanity-MidOhio, helping to give less-fortunate families an opportunity to become homeowners.
The grandest contemporary light fixture I have seen. Guess where it is–the master bathroom!
Weaver Custom Homes
Along with its gorgeous and open concept, this Weaver Custom Home will make you leave wanting to remove every wall in your home to create an open floor plan.
My favorite kitchen of all the homes I saw was absolutely this kitchen! I especially love the brightness of the entire space, as well as the brass touches throughout.
Sierra Custom Homes
No home looked the same. There was nothing cookie cutter about the interior or exterior of any home, including this one.
Anyone else in love with white and gray kitchens? These counters and massive island space are on my wish list.
This home was the most unique on our list. It is a must-see! Be sure to look for the “hidden” feature.
Romanelli & Hughes
I could envision my little girls running around many of the homes, but especially in this room. How cute is this fun wallpaper?
